Land clearing

From overgrown to ready-to-build

Whether you're prepping a lot for construction, opening up acreage, or taking back a yard the brush swallowed years ago, we clear land efficiently — trees, stumps, brush and debris — while protecting the features you want to keep.

What our land clearing covers

  • Selective clearing — take out the scrub, keep the grand oaks. You mark what stays; we protect it.
  • Full lot clearing for new construction, additions, pools and driveways.
  • Brush and undergrowth mulching for overgrown parcels and easements.
  • Stump grinding and complete debris haul-off with our own grapple truck — nothing left in piles.

Residential and commercial

We've cleared single overgrown backyards and multi-acre development sites. Our own heavy equipment — including the grapple truck — means we don't wait on subcontractors, which keeps your project on schedule.

How it works

  1. Walk the site with us

Call (813) 244-0050 and we'll meet you on the parcel. You show us the plan — what goes, what stays, what the land needs to become.

  2. Scope and quote

You get a written scope: selective or full clearing, stumps in or out, mulch on site or haul everything. If protected trees or permits are in play, we flag it here — before anything is cut.

  3. Clear it

Trees come down, brush gets mulched or piled for the grapple, stumps get ground where the plan calls for it. Marked keep-trees are protected throughout.

  4. Leave it ready

Debris hauled, surface left workable, and the site ready for the surveyor, the builder or just the new lawn. No piles left behind for someone else to deal with.

What affects the price

No two trees are the same, so every quote is built in person — free, in writing, and exact. Here's what moves the number:

  • Acreage and density — a quarter-acre of palmetto scrub and two wooded acres are different projects.
  • Selective vs. full clearing — protecting keep-trees takes more care than clearing everything.
  • Stumps — grinding or removing stumps is a real part of the scope; leaving them is cheaper but rarely what a build site needs.
  • Debris handling — mulching brush on site costs less than hauling everything off with the grapple truck.
  • Ground conditions — wet areas and soft ground slow the equipment down and shape which machines we can use.

Honest answers

Can you handle large commercial clearing projects?

Yes. We have the equipment and crew for multi-acre commercial and development sites, and we've delivered cleared, ready-to-build land ahead of schedule for Tampa developers.

Do I need permits for land clearing?

For most construction-related clearing in Hillsborough or Pasco County, yes — especially where protected trees or wetlands are involved. We'll walk the site with you and tell you what's needed before anything is cut.

How much does land clearing cost?

It's priced per project after a site walk, because the drivers vary so much: acreage, how dense the growth is, whether we're clearing everything or working around keep-trees, and whether stumps and haul-off are in scope. The walk-through and the written quote are free.

Do you haul everything away, or can you mulch on site?

Both. Brush and undergrowth can be mulched into ground cover on site, which costs less and feeds the soil. Trunks, stumps and anything the site plan can't leave behind go out on our grapple truck. Most projects use a mix, and the quote spells out which is which.

How long does land clearing take?

An overgrown residential backyard is typically a day or two. Multi-acre parcels depend on density and scope, so the quote comes with a timeline. Because we run our own heavy equipment instead of waiting on subcontractors, the schedule we give you is one we control.
